Campus Director, CTE-CE (#20577) NH
Under the direction of the Associate Vice Chancellor, Office of Workforce Education and Corporate Partnerships (OWECP), position has the primary responsibility for leading the Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Community Education (CE) activities at the an LSC-campus. Position establishes a creative, entrepreneurial environment in which the local community is served, resources are effectively managed, and curriculum is designed to meet the workforce training, literacy, and leisure learning needs of individuals, area businesses, and government organizations.
1.Provides leadership, supervision, evaluation, and quality assurance for CEU and non-credit
2.programs at the campus. Program areas may include, but are not limited to, Workforce Education, community services, adult literacy, civic and cultural programs, and public seminars and workshops.
3.Responsible for oversight of CTE/CE Student Services including Registration and Student Success.
4.Provides leadership and accountability for CTE/CE programs and classes using a profit center budget model.
5.Recruits and hires Adjunct Faculty and staff. Ensures proper training and orientation of Instructors and Staff.
6.Collaborates with area agencies, volunteer associations, community-based organizations, and other clients and partners to address and meet their needs; coordinates the negotiation of contracts for use with off-site facilities and for provision of CTE/CE services.
7.Promotes non-credit workforce and community classes and programs to ensure strong student enrollment growth and stability.
8.Advocates for and represents Corporate and Continuing Education to the local community, college administration, Faculty and staff; promotes through presentations and ongoing contact with chambers, civic organizations, economic development entities, and community-based and state organizations.
9.Serves as an effective team member on campus committees and councils, Workforce Council and Corporate College curriculum teams.
10.Responsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related work experience, at least 3 in a Manager- or Director-level position.
Hiring Salary is $63,976
