The Undergraduates Promoting Research, Opportunities, Professionalism, Education, and Leadership (U-PROPELConference is an exhilarating and transformative event tailored for undergraduate students. This dynamic conference features four distinct tracks: research, mentorship, leadership, and professional development, offering a comprehensive platform for students to explore and enhance their academic and professional skills. Attendees will engage in cutting-edge research presentations, receive invaluable guidance from seasoned mentors, develop essential leadership capabilities, and gain insights into professional growth opportunities. The U-PROPEL Conference is a must-attend event for ambitious undergraduates eager to propel their future success, build lasting networks, and unlock their full potential.

 The Black Doctoral Network is a bridge leader, creating paths between scholars, disciplines, and academic universities all while serving as an invaluable connection between higher education and the community at large.

Conference Information:
We invite you to join us in-person this October in the city of Los Angeles, California for our undergraduate and national conferences. These conferences operate concurrently and participants will have access to both conference sessions at no additional costs. The conferences will be hosted at Loyola Marymount University (1 LMU Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90045).  

BDN2024 brings together both world renowned and emergent scholars and professionals from the social sciences, STEM and humanities to function as a resource, a support system, as a space of intellectual exchange, and a place to create connections and develop collaborations. Our conference brings together hundreds of students, faculty, and professionals and features three-days of panel sessions, workshop presentations, forum discussions, poster sessions and a recruitment and resource fair.

Registration & Membership Information: 

In order to receive the member discount, please log in or join before registering for the conference. 

Full conference registration types include breakfast on Friday and Saturday and lunch on Thursday and Friday.

Parking information: 

Visitors are welcome to park in the University Hall parking garage. Parking is $15 on the weekdays and free on the weekends on the LMU campus. To view the campus map, click here
