The Black Doctoral Network is leading the next generation of Black scholars to reach new heights. Encouraging intellectual curiosity and transformative research, the Black Doctoral Network is a bridge leader, creating paths between scholars, disciplines, and academic universities all while its serves as an invaluable connection between higher education and the community at large.

Conference Information:
The 4th Annual Black Doctoral Network Conference will feature Dr. Patricia Hill Collins, Dr. Ivory Toldson, and Dr. Joy DeGruy as plenary speakers. BDN2016 brings together both world renowned and emergent scholars and professionals from the social sciences, STEM and humanities to function as a resource, a support system, as a space of intellectual exchange, and a place to create connections and develop collaborations.

Refund Policy:

Registration fees are non-refundable as of Wednesday, August 31, 2016. No refunds will be granted starting Thursday, September 1, 2016. For individual submissions, registration fees are non-refundable as of Wednesday, August 31, 2016. For group submissions, registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE, however, if a co-panelist withdraws, the group members can add in a substitute at no additional charge.

Presenter Information: 

All group submissions require at least 3 presenters. Presenters may not take part in more than one presentation; presenters may give one and only one paper at the conference.

Hotel Accommodations: 

The Black Doctoral Network Inc. has negotiated a sleeping room rate of $169/night (doubles & singles) for all Annual Conference guests at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Atlanta Hotel for Thursday and Friday night.  Reservations can be made online at http://bit.ly/1LmPde8 or over the phone at 404-577-2001. To receive the discounted rate of $169, you must tell the hotel that you are part of the Black Doctoral Network Conference and provide the group code:  BDN.
